A world order in transition exacerbated by growing Western domestic political and cultural intransigence
We all know about the International Order that we put into effect after WWII. With it we established the rules, the organizations and the management of that process. Well, it is 2025, some 75 years later, and several countries, that were not part of those much earlier deliberations, now want a voice in how that world is to be run. We also know and possibly are involved in the political dynamics that have engulfed our own country and much of the Western world. It is much easier to indentify the problems than to offer solutions. If it is of any consolation, countries and political systems have been going through these kind of issues thoughout history. Some cycles last longer than others, but look at the Chinese dynastic cycles as an understandable measure of predictability. We’ll look at some of the more contemporary cycle models for hints/clues going forward, especially on our domestic situation.
